The Union Education Minister also attacked the West Bengal government for its opposition to the New Education Policy unveiled in 2020, wondering whether the opposition stemmed from political considerations.
Addressing a presser held at BJP’s district headquarters in Baruipur, the teachers and youth of West Bengal should get justice by the implementation of the NEP-2020. In South 24 Parganas district, Navodaya Vidyalaya-1 has been closed for the last 10 years. He has appealed to the State Government to cooperate in the functioning of the school and making land available for the construction of permanent buildings.
Besides, the Union Minister had a discussion with the first-time voters in Baruipur. He said, when the country is completing hundred years of independence, these young people will be leading the country. “Youth should remember their duty and responsibility to take West Bengal and India to the top. It is necessary to strengthen their resolve to eradicate corruption and nepotism,” Pradhan said.
