Patnaik informed the Prime Minister that two to three days were being taken for transportation of oxygen from city to another city by train trucks in the country. But the lengthy time has been reduced to two to three hours, based on distance, as oxygen is now being carried in aircrafts of the Indian Air Force. He too informed that the IAF has already done 1,600 sorties of oxygen transportation in 3,000 hour flying. Over 150 international missions have also been achieved.
“Transportation of oxygen through air is saving many lives now. Thanks Patnaik Babu,” said the Prime Minister.
On the occasion, the Prime Minister also talked to Patnaik’s 12-year-old daughter Aditi. The tiny girl told the PM that she is very proud of her father and missing him now.
