Out of the 329 fresh Covid-19 cases in the State Capital, 91 cases were detected from among quarantined people and the rest 238 cases were reported from local contacts.
Bhubaneswar, June 14: As many as 329 new Covid-19 positive cases have been reported from Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) area in Odisha in the last 24 hours, informed the BMC on Monday.
The State Capital recorded 509 Covid-19 positive cases yesterday.
Out of the 329 fresh cases, 91 cases were detected from among quarantined people and the rest 238 cases were reported from local contacts.
With this, the Covid-19 tally of the BMC area has increased to 84,447.
The civic body also said that as many as 933 people of the city have been recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours.
To date, a total of 79,982 Covid-19 patients of the BMC area have been cured while 381 people succumbed to the virus.
The active cases of the city currently stand at 4,063, said the BMC.
