Bhubaneswar, Mar 6: BJP leaders will continue holding discussions in detail on various problems being faced by people of Odisha on the second and concluding day of its State Executive Meeting on Sunday.
While a meeting of functionaries had been held on the first day on Saturday, executive members will meet today and make strategies to take on the State Government on various issues.
The functionaries’ meeting presided over by State president Samir Mohanty and graced by State BJP in-charge D Purandeswari and assistant in-charge Vijay Pal Singh Tomar discussed social and political issues yesterday. Besides, delays and irregularities in implementation of various Central schemes were discussed and the State Government was slammed for the same. Functionaries were also asked to strengthen party organisation at grassroots level in view of upcoming panchayat and civic body polls.
Party sources said, the executive meeting, which will be attended by all MPs and MLAs, will make plans for a successful fight in the ensuring Pipili by-election. The executive meet may pass some social and political resolutions today.
