The weather department also issued a yellow warning to seven districts in the State.
“Dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Ganjam, Puri, Jagatsinghpur, Khurda, Cuttack, Angul and Dhenkanal,” Meteorological Centre in a bulletin.
“Shallow to moderate fog is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Angul, Dhenkanal and Kandhamal,” read the bulletin.
Today, the highest maximum temperature of 33 degree Celsius was recorded at Malkangiri and the lowest minimum temperature of 10.5 degree Celsius was recorded at Phulbani.
