Bhubaneswar, Dec 10: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) Regional Centre, Bhubaneswar on Thursday issued dense fog warning for as many as six districts of Odisha during next 24 hours.
As per the latest bulletin of the Met Dept, dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Khordha, Puri, Kendrapara and Nayagarh during the next 24 hours.
The Met Dept has issued a yellow warning for these districts during the period.
The weathermen also forecast that shallow to moderate fog very likely to occur at a few places in the early morning over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara,Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Nayagarh, Khordha, Puri and at one or two places in the early morning over the districts of Kandhamal, Rayagada, Kalahandi, Boudh, Angul and Dhenkanal in the next 24 hours.
On Thursday, the highest maximum temperature of 32.6 degree Celsius was recorded at Jharsuguda and the lowest minimum temperature of 11.4 degree Celsius was recorded at Bhawanipatna in the State.
