During the Padayatra, the MP talked to villagers and enquired about problems being faced by them, if any. She also enquired if they are getting benefits of various welfare programmes being implemented by the Union Government. In their grievances, villagers told the MP that their village road has not been reconstructed for long and many eligible persons have been deprived of benefits under the Prime Minister Awas Yojana (PMAY) and old-age and widow pension schemes.
In her response, the MP explained to people how to get these benefits and assured them that she take steps to resolve their problems at the earliest.
Among others, BJP Khordha district president, district coordinator, local Sarpanch, Samiti Member, Mandal president and other party functionaries were present.
